The story fits the equation, but it's too confusing. This word problem was confusing because what happened in this word problem wasn't explained clearly. To understand the word problem, we have to look at the equation. There are not really any grammatical mistakes. It is not very creative because the word problem is mostly taking away or receiving apples. You can add more creative ideas other than receiving or taking away apples. It suits the equation, but it can improve.
The equation was creative but we couldn’t understand and you could’ve improved about saying the sentences more clearly like the sentence Then, Poby’s cousin came and gave him the double amount of the apples that he had. However, mean step sister took away 3 times the amount of Poby had, so like did she take 3 times the amount he had before the amount doubled or after it doubled so we couldn’t really understand this part. But we overall like it :D
It was really creative and funny. However you shouldn't solve the equation in your paragraph because it's a word problem. You should set up the problem for the reader. Other than that it was ok.
